Losing Body Fat (Pounds & Inches) Permanently #1
Learning How The Fat Got There In The First Place
Part 1 of 3
If the following were test questions, would you pass or fail?
Q. What foods end up as fat?
Q. How does your body change the food to fat?
If you're not sure of the answers, you're in good company. Hardly anyone has a clear understanding about how food becomes fat in the body. Yet, when you do understand this simple process it can motivate you to permanently lose that unwanted "yellow" fat. This information is worth more than all the other "diets" and "weight loss" programs combined. And it can have the desirable "side effects" of contributing to exceptional health.
...when you do understand this simple process, it can motivate you to permanently lose that unwanted "yellow" fat.
This may sound too good to be true, but nutritional science and the testimonials of thousands of my students and clients gives ample proof of its effectiveness. If you are sick and tired of the ups and downs (yo-yos) and the plateaus and plain lack of results associated with all the empty hype of the "dieting gurus", I invite you to step back and re-evaluate your situation. I promise you that the facts will prove to be both encouraging and comforting. There is hope - your goals are attainable.
The #1 key is learning how the body converts food to fat! Think for a moment of the logic of that statement. In order to get out of a predicament shouldn't the first step be to find out how you "got there" in the first place?
In order to get out of a predicament shouldn't the first step be to find out how you "got there" in the first place?
What does the body do with the food you eat? The short and simple answer is that virtually all the carbohydrates, 10% of the fats and more than 50% (58%) of the protein you consume end up as blood sugar (glucose).
Before we go any further, let me be very clear - your body must have adequate amounts and good sources of carbohydrates, fats and protein. The conversion of foods to blood sugar is essential for your mental and physical energy and survival. This is exactly how your body was designed and intended to work - anything less would be devastating.
It's the excess glucose, anything beyond the normal requirements, that the body will transform into triglycerides ("yellow fat") for storage - that's the problem. The excess typically comes from carbohydrates, especially the refined starches and sugars that contribute the most to loss of control of the blood sugar.
Let's look at a 'Glucose Tolerance Chart' to help show what happens with the blood sugar:

The range between 70 and 120 represent the low-to-high levels that your blood sugar can rise and fall throughout a 24 hr period, without necessarily causing problems. The "ideal", represented by the heavy red line, is in the middle of that range.
But notice the arrows that show blood sugar levels that exceed the normal range. That shows excess blood sugar as it goes rapidly above the high tolerance range. Your body must convert that surplus to something that is not reactive and unsafe - and that's a stable (benign) fat called triglyceride. This is a protective response by the body using insulin to prevent the damage that could occur from high blood sugar (hyperglycemia - diabetes).
Plainly and simply, the body makes fat from excess blood sugar to protect against harm.
That's it. Plainly and simply, the body makes fat from excess blood sugar to protect against harm.
Then, if the body isn't able to dispose of the extra triglyceride because it's being generated in too great a quantity, or if the natural "fat dissolving" factors are not available in adequate amounts to accomplish fat breakdown as the blood circulates through the liver, the triglyceride is deposited in tissue as expansive "yellow" fat.
In the next two newsletters we'll talk about nutritional density or how to eat (and well!) so your body won't have excess blood sugar, plus you'll learn about a couple of "fat releasing" measures and about the normal "fat-dissolving" substances that you want to be certain are naturally present in your body - and how you can activate and accelerate all three categories to achieve faster and longer-lasting results.
